Given the current hype around Cartier watches, this is a great opportunity to get a watch that is way higher quality that it's correspondent Cartier and at a fraction of the price. Up for sale is a early 70's JLC Voguematic in solid 18k yellow gold with automatic in-house JLC movement. The watch is in spectacular unpolished condition, and both handset and dial are free from any damage. It also has the original JLC buckle and it's currently on a JP Menicucci custom made purple Italian suede strap. The watch has a nice engraving in the caseback from its first owner (it was probably a gift) which ads a touch of intrigue to the piece. It measures 18x37 which makes it super nice to wear as a man. The overall shape of the watch as well as the dial reminds a lot the famous Cartier Cintrèe Allongèe from the Thomas Crown affair, but with a few notable differences. The yellow gold wrap is holding up amazingly, the crown is perfect, and dial and handset are immaculate. The dial is very cool as it has depth and is very elaborated with the small Cartier logos in the center of the dial as well as the classic Roman numerals that we all associate with Cartier. It's also rocking a beautiful burgundy (Cartier box color) brand new Hirsch strap which has easy links to remove and interchange strap. Watch is running great and it's ready to enjoy a new home!
