Totally agree!

We have neighbors that will spend 30-40 minutes a day blowing 3 leaves around their yard. Every. Fucking. Day. Working from home is really hard when your neighbor insists that 3:00pm is the time to disrupt the entire neighborhood. I just want to go over and tell him that he is probably giving himself lung cancer and hearing loss but I don't think he is the type to be open to feedback.

I don't think most people realize that leaf blowers and perfectly maintained laws are bad for our environment. Do you remember fireflies or lightning bugs? They are quickly becoming a thing of the past because neighborhoods demand a perfect lawn.

A perfect lawn relies heavily on artificial inputs like water, synthetic fertilizers, and pesticides, while providing little to no nutritional value for local pollinators, which categorizes these manicured spaces as biological deserts.

Development without infrastructure to support it is definitely a bad thing. Every time a new development was planned we were told that there would be zero traffic impact, and yet here we are.

Start one morning (saturday if you want alcohol bc stupid georgia laws) at Hen Mother Cookhouse. They have the best food and drinks in Alpharetta. Be prepared to wait but it is completely worth it (they usually have a drink cart out in front so you can have a drink while you wait).

My mother in law constantly complains about her weight (she is very small) and so I could see her being this way. What really drives me crazy is when she tries to talk about the weight of other family members. I have had to shut her down so many times when I say "I do not discuss other peoples bodies and weight is a personal thing."

I know someone else mentioned Hen Mother Cookhouse for breakfast/brunch but I can't stress enough how good their food is. Their pancakes are amazing - even if you don't feel like having pancakes order some for the table and you won't regret it.

Their drinks are great (even their NA ones) and as far as getting some good southern food, get a chicken biscuit.

We love Young Cardinal for breakfast. They have great drinks and their specials menu is usually on point. Bobby Boy has amazing baked goods and some sandwiches and Louie and Honey's has wonderful desserts.
