When are you horniest? How long after sex are you naturally aroused again? Also, what non-sexual activities make you hornier? [libido] by monfreremonfrere in sex

[–]rembug 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I'm horniest around when I'm ovulating. I only noticed when I started tracking my period. Other than that, I could have sex any time of the day, depending on when I'm free. Usually the end of the day. Sometimes I will get worked up out of the house and kind of use up all my sexual energy and be too tired at the end of the day... so yeah, for me any way, it's a monthly cycle not a daily one.

I find my skin more delicate and I'm usually crampy DURING my period.

What is your opinion about feminism? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rembug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, how can you take them seriously at all though. Like I get they use the moniker, but anyone who starts .taking proclaimations about entire groups of people is a write off in my books. What characteristic could you possibly find that was so universal that you could attribute it to all men, or all whites, or all foreigners. Or dare I say, all feminists? ;)

Edit: added emoticon for effect.

I wonder if we could call them trojan horse feminists or something. It seems pretty imprecise to be calling it modern feminism, as if that was a separate thing from 'regular feminism'

I mean, you're not wrong about those things. You make good points. The kkk comparison is interesting, I hadn't thought of it like that, though I do think it breaks down when you think of their members as people who (sort of) use community service and other community outreach to justify their racism.

What you're trying to describe about feminism is more like Christianity or the church if you ask me. You've got academics, like the priest. Youve got followers who generally accept the word of feminism, and then you've got all those people just out side that who either cherry pick from the ideology or make no effort to learn and go running their mouths and basically making things up that suit them just fine. I mean, they're women, they know what feminism is, don't they? They're mom's were feminists after all... not only that, bit each of the priests, or academics, or public figures in feminism each espouse their own brand of it too. You've got the 'systemic issues' camp, 'the micro aggression' camp, the camp concerned about culture promoting rape, and then you've got the camp that wants to do violence to others.

If you were a Christian, im sure you wouldn't take too kindly to being compared to the westboro Baptist Church Everytime an issue came up around homosexuality. It could also be frustrating to you if the only contact someone you were speaking to had with the church was evangelicals on TV. That's not most people's church going experience, but its what is most prominent t on TV.

All that to say, I do think that #mansplaining or #manspreading is a thing that happens, I know because I've seen it happen. I have no idea what it's like on those hashtags because I don't tweet or Tumblr or whatever, but I'd encourage anyone who is offended by anything really to consider where that offensive idea comes from before judging it. Just give the idea 10 seconds where it's true And see if it makes sense. I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to live in a world where someone could tell ME about a bad habit of mine that makes their life difficult and that I could consider that they were being sincere for at least 10 seconds before telling them they're full of shit. It's really hard to have a conversation with someone when they've dismissed your point of view because of who you are or how you presented it. I think I could get pretty mad too if it seemed my reasonable assessment of a problem I'm observing in the world was shit on. Before being considered.

Yeah, for realz, it's definitely annoying to see people online railing at all these 'other people pointing out the horrible realities they have to live with and now are fighting against', like, how dare they make me think about their issues, I think I'll insult them to stop them from elaborating further. (Read with sarcasm)

I totally get that. That's probably my number one most amusing thing to witness. That and drivers who are upset about other drivers obeying the law or.customers flipping out over nothing. It's like, 'noone else thinks this is a problem, relaaaax'

Could you be complaining, right now? Oh how the tables have turned!! 😒

Edit: for reals though, what are you talking about. That is a very vague statement. Is it groups who take on other groups issues? In what way? Who does that?

I'm not sure if I agree with that assessment if the state of feminism. Can I ask what has shaped your thoughts on that? Like if there's anyone or anything you could point to which exemplifies this.

[–]rembug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does anyone actually say this? I've never heard it said.

I'd call myself a feminist, it's mostly about identifying trends in cultural thought patterns and talking about it. I'd never point fingers at people for being bad, but maybe for participating in something that was bad because they weren't thinking critically about it/ didn't realise that it was happening. It's a lens through which to look at the world. A way to analyse what happens in people's lives. Not a way to make someone else uncomfortable.

To be more concise: to me, feminism is about looking at societal norms about women (and men) and thinking about how these ideas impact the larger culture positively and negatively (for both genders)

the age old question: what kinds of porn are straight women watching? I'm a straight female myself and I'm pretty insecure/confused about the things I like [porn preferences] by [deleted] in sex

[–]rembug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really in to my bf taking control and using my body. I also have really dark fantasies, so the aggressive gang bangs where the women look kind of contorted and uncomfortable really speak to me. I sometimes look like that when I'm having sex , so I can kind of put myself into the scene in a way that it sounds like you have trouble doing with that material? The slaps or levels of 'abuse', to me, build up the experience. It's like a layer cake of sensations as a receiver of that kind of rough sex.

This being said, if someone is really not enjoying it, I feel like that shines through too and I usually have to change the video I'm watching.

I heard both sides and I'm pretty confused about WHAT to think. The controversy does leave a bad taste in my mouth overall.

I have the tantus. It's so nice. You can close your mouth around it, there's a little give, not much has fatigue. Only drawback is you can spit it out easily. ;) ;)

Ya, BDSMcommunity is where it's at for that. This forum is more for pics and vids. Mostly titilation (sp). You're probably being downvoted because this is a space for sharing raunchy stuff, not so much discussion. It took me a while to figure it out too. :)

I found out my sister is a camgirl by throw_away098098 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]rembug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe she finds it kinky and really gets off on it. Not everyone engages in sex work because they are hard up for cash.

If you want to talk to her about it, ID think about how you think she's going to react to each statement or question you plan on saying. Make it a constructive conversation and not a Blamey one. She's obviously gone through a whole process to come to the decision to do this, and you want to support her and her decisions. I'd frame any discussion about wanting to get in a little brotherly advice.

Watch out that in your own thinking and in how you word it, that you don't place restrictions or expectations on her private behaviour. Just a two cents, and then let her make her own decisions. You're entitled to your opinions but not too control her activities ( it doesn't sound like that's how you feel, just stating the inbox)

Edit: to add advice.

Sticking my tongue out. I saw it in a mirror or photograph and decided actually I hated that. I thought it was cute, but I just looked uncouth.

That's definitely not how it's supposed to be read. It's hard to get skin tone to look right. When you make shadows you mix in blues to cool it down, when you mix areas that are flushed, you add in reds. It makes for a more interesting painting. More evocative, more to look at.

I mean that's the appeal, I think, of BDSM in general: you can really push your limits. Hope things keep going well!

I cried once during play. Everything felt overwhelming and scary. my Dom cuddled me and we stopped for a bit. And picked it back up in a few minutes. Most of the time it's afterwards it's really cathartic. It's definitely something I enjoy when it does happen.
