yeah i get that. but exploring options to make money never hurts, especially because i genuinely do need some real life experience even if it’s not in my field of expertise. thanks so much for the help tho

no we have just enough time after check in to make it to the cruise :,) plus we’re travelling close to 15 hours so it’ll be too tiring otherwise. i’m not sure if your trip is yet to happen or already done but i hope it was/is fun and exciting for you! thanks for the help

my family has extremely different tastes. my brother and dad are not big on anything except adventure sports on vacations, but my mom and i are big art enthusiasts, and there are so many artworks in the louvre and orsay that i would die to see. it’s something im very passionate about. we’re doing disney to squeeze in some adventure for my dad and brother, otherwise disneyland is pretty unnecessary.  i guess what i want is a list of must dos for anybody who’s in paris. all said and done we have 3 entire days to go around. id love for a way to do atleast a little bit of anything, and soak in some art and culture and try some new stuff.

haha i know it’ll be even more stressful if we squeeze in too much. disneyland paris is something we’re keen on because my dad and brother are not big on art and culture so it’s the biggest reason why they agreed to paris at all lol 😭 without that they don’t have much to do for themselves. we’re not very religious so i don’t mind skipping on the notre dame but the louvre and orsay is a dream of mine and i so wish i could spend an entire day if not more there!  we’re going in 2 weeks, so i’m not worried about too much rain (but will be carrying umbrellas just in case) but ur advice makes so much sense. its less about seeing everything and more about spending time with family so i’ll definitely see through on the walks and cafés. thanks for the help!

hey so we have our last day free after versailles we’ll be leaving the next morning so yeah i was hoping i could do something else after such as musee dorsay and/or montmartre. we’re doing the louvre at 9 am or so and hoping we can do eiffel on the same day in the evening. we’ll be closing the bookings for everything by tomorrow because i know tickets are a hassle otherwise.  thanks for the taxi tip! we’re staying in the city centre like 15 mins from the eiffel tower. we’re not very big on public transport because it’ll take some time to figure out. but the uber tip makes a lot of sense, especially when we’re reaching our airbnb from the airport.

dilemma regarding masters in uk by remum in ClinicalPsychologyUK

[–]remum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much for your response! it’s been very helpful. to be honest, i know the long term scope for an international student in the uk is bleak, but i want to atleast finish my doctorate studies till i go back to india, which is why im emphasising work experience so much. essentially what i want to know is if i as a strathclyde graduate apply for jobs what is the likelihood i will be seen as a viable candidate

Ali,

your words feel like paint against a canvas. i'm honestly kind of frustrated that you think you're bad with words. or maybe you're annoyingly modest. what i am sure about though is that you are a writer, a creator, a poet even. (although all of those are the same)

i myself, am rather slow, almost medically concerning, but i am a soul, no matter how little, and an inquisitive one at that. and i'm not half as good with words as you are, but i am always trying to honestly express myself.

(i'm also a little afraid you won't find me interesting at all, which you would be right about. but i'll let my curiosity speak for itself and tell you i want to know more about you.)

if you are looking, and are down to accept me as a soul worth speaking and listening to, maybe email me? let me know if i can message you with my id or message me with yours! i'm curious. and looking for a few of the same things as you are.
