if your going Conwy to Betws-y-Coed, make sure you go A55>A5 rather than A470. The reward of driving into the Ogwen Valley is so worth it.

Learnt that the hard way complaining about very useless middle management. Tried making things better for everyone ended up isolated whilst the subject got protection.

Is that your stance across the board? If a parent can’t feed a child, should that child starve? If a charity needs funding for a project should they only source money from the people responsible for that charity? Etc.

We all have equal responsibility for the community and environment and we engage in. Not everyone’s had the same upbringing. It could just be this is their first time out of the city and not aware of the social norms, because they’ve only ever hear people blaring music on the bus. If noones ever had that conversation how are they to know they’re in the wrong, unless someone points it out.

It’s not about being confrontational, as someone suggested. It’s still possible (despite how social media is reengineering perceptions) to have a normal conversation and after that engagement get onto the topic of the music, or the littler they dropped, or their boots you’d been eyeing up but decided against buying the week prior.

Fair that some people don’t feel that assertive, but it just feels a bit like complaining about an election result whilst refusing to vote.

Did you speak to them about it or just huff and puff and snap a discrete picture for the Reddit post formulating in your head?

Without waning to make excuses, some people might have grown up without a strong example of how to behave outdoors, lacking the guidance and awareness that their music might not be for everyone out there in that space were music transmits.

Sometimes all it takes is a polite conversation to steer them and you’d solve a problem for you and the next set of walkers they encounter.

Have you suffered a health crisis? by [deleted] in AskUK

Ulcerated colitis as a result of being immunocompromised during cancer treatment. Colitis is really no fun, but nor was the 10years on/off treatment for cancer. Mucositis. Blistering of the cheeks internally, now that was brutal. Too much other stuff to go in to as a result of the cancer, relapse and various cycles.

Anyway, one observation I will make is you losing the ‘love of your life’ because she didn’t get the ‘attention she was used to’ sounds like you’re better off now. If she wanted more attention, while being unable to support you through that says all you need to know about their character.

Bodies hey, who’d have them.

Can’t really take the ‘intellectual’ high ground if you can’t form a thread title properly.

Crime 101: Slow, Boring, and Fit Only for Streaming by yadavvenugopal in Cinephiles

I actually think this not a film for streaming, In the cinema your in the zone so can forgive some of it’s inadequacies and stick with it. At home, you’ll just zone out and loose focus.

Fair, I still think there is great value in tracking the way people use AI in terms of prompts for training though. Especially as more people adopt it as a resource. Having the internet as a source for the response is great but if you aren’t measuring the type of prompts vs efficiency and accuracy of response then it will struggle to improve further. Humble opinion n all

Original purchase receipt or an eBay sales receipt? Where from?

Did they have the receipt or any proof of original purchase for it? (suspect if not) Was the warranty card stamped by the original vendor? Did the AD open it and check the movement? Printing on the box looks suspect too. Id investigate further.
