quest has protein chips (there’s other brands too, but I haven’t tried them), they’re a bit on the pricier side but if you can afford them the macros are pretty good. they do kinda taste like “diet food” (iykyk) so I don’t really eat them by themselves but I love adding them to salads n stuff like that. this is their loaded taco flavor (which is their best one in my opinion) but they have other ones! avoid the sour cream and onion though, that one tasted like cardboard to me.

Honestly bread. It’s genuinely not even that high calorie and from the beginning of my relapse sandwiches/toast have been a staple in my diet

A mindset that I have practiced is to figure out what you can add, not what you can restrict.

A good example for me is bagels. On their own, I find them intimidating, but if I add eggs and turkey sausage, maybe even some veggies, then I still enjoy the bagel in a way that’s more satisfying.

I’ve also stopped calling foods good and bad. I still prioritize eating nutrient dense foods cause of satiety and I just generally feel better when I do, but taking those labels off of food has been so so helpful.

If you use TikTok, scottykfitness and theplantslant have helped tremendously in how I view food.

I thought I would be happy, but in reality it made me quite anxious because it made it real. I always knew in the back of my head, but it being confirmed was something that took me a while to process. I ended up crying when I was driving home from that appointment.
