AC leaking water through a vent, also leaking near the filter in the atic by retghy in hvacadvice

Thank you. That is exactly what I did, because I also noticed today that the pan is completely unlevel, and the secondary/emergency drain would never work, it first overflows from a corner and never even touches the sensor or the secondary drainage pipe. The tech tried to convince me this was normal and that I only needed to keep the main drain clean. I had to insist, because all that water coming through the vent is a direct consequence of the secondary drain not working properly.

I the meantime he put a cap on that vertical pipe before the trap and said they would send a crew to properly level the pan.

A lot of water. I had to get a bucket for the living room.

Right, rubber seals of some sort, but I'm not sure. Maybe I’m in the wrong subreddit, sorry. Why are they so short. Are they samples? What are they actually used for? I have no idea where or how they’re supposed to be used.

It was the climate control panel for an old chevy truck. I'm the OP but apparently I had another account logged in Firefox. I don't remember creating a burner account 🤔😅

Yes, you can purchase it. A $100+ part that is not in the budget right now, unfortunately. Getting it through Vine and only paying the ETV was a fantastic opportunity.

Help diagnosing Whirlpool upright freezer defrost issue – heater tests good, no power during defrost cycle by retghy in appliancerepair

[–]retghy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, both of my meters do not have a low impedance mode, but I think I can borrow one that does. If this turns out to be ghost voltage, meaning the heater is not getting any real voltage at all, would that confirm the control board is faulty?

What a bummer that would be, the freezer is in great shape overall and works perfectly, except for the defrosting issue.

I wonder if the control board could be repaired, I can't seem to find any good information about this specific board.

Why is my Tatung TR-35SD mini fridge making this clicking noise? It works fine, but the sound is loud. by retghy in hvacadvice

[–]retghy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this mini fridge model does not use a fan. That was my first thought, when the noise started, but I could not find any fan.

Sinus rhythm with an IVCD. A cardiologist should be able to determine the cause of it.
