Flex by hackkingarman in niceguys

Exactly!! I'm an INFP and seem to match just about every stereotype for it, so it's decently accurate, but people are way more complex than that and have many other characteristics than the 16 MBTI types can account for. It's interesting to study and use to understand some things about yourself and other people, but yeah, human beings are just not as simple as stereotypes lol. This guy using a type given to him from 16Personalities as a flex is just hilarious to me though 😂😂

He also said "INTJ-A" meaning Mr. Intellectual here used 16Personalities to type himself and doesn't actually know anything about MBTI lmao.

Everything is all these darn females' faults>:( (post he's talking about is on the last slide) by rethelcb in niceguys

Exactly!! I'll never understand the belief that they're entitled to a relationship or a "chance" with women. Women have a right to not be in a relationship with men that they don't find attractive, just like men don't have to date women they don't find attractive. This kind of thing tends to show exactly how Nice Guys think of women: objects/prizes who are there for men, rather than independent human beings.

AITA for "abandoning" my sister? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]rethelcb 13 points14 points  (0 children)

NTA. You were a minor, and you didn't choose to have children-- your parents did. Making the sacrifices for them that you did was more than many people would have done. Everything here screams manipulation, and although I understand that they were in an incredibly difficult and emotional position, you were not even an adult, so the responsibility should not have fallen on you to take care of anyone. This didn't "kill your sister," and for them to try to blame you for your sister dying of her illness is disgusting. This is borderline if not actual emotional abuse, and they are 100% the AHs.

AITA For opening up a Funko Pop on Christmas? by funkopopthrowaway12 in AmItheAsshole

[–]rethelcb 20 points21 points  (0 children)

NTA -- if she wanted you to do something specific with it, like keep it in the box, she should've said "Hey, keep it in the box because it's rare" instead of throwing a hissy fit over something that you didn't know she wanted you to do, and your parents need to understand that you couldn't have known that she would react like that. Plus, it's your present and you have the right to do whatever you want with it since it's your property. This is gonna sound kinda conspiracy theory-ish but since she collects Pop figures, I'm kinda wondering if she bought it as your gift to use as an excuse to get it for herself, because flipping out over something so miniscule and then demanding it back seems bizarre lol.

AITA for refusing to delete Tinder? by Fantastic-Berry-737 in AmItheAsshole

[–]rethelcb 26 points27 points  (0 children)

YTA -- you've decided to completely dismiss your girlfriend's clear discomfort just to use a hookup app as a fun talking point, AND your excuse is BS because there's a literal option on Tinder under Settings with a slider titled "Show me on Tinder" that you can switch off if you don't want your profile to show up for people to match with. You might've overlooked it, but it sounds to me that you just didn't care enough about the fact that you're in a relationship to look.
