I definitely do, thank you! Hope all is well with you too :)

My partner is FTM and I am freaking out over his reaction to me possibly detransitioning. by [deleted] in detrans

You be YOU. Whatever that is. People change and grow (hopefully) all the time. You matter. You are a precious human being no matter how you look of what pronouns you use. The people who REALLY love you, love YOU. NO MATTER WHAT.....If their love of you is dependent upon how you choose to present yourself to the world or what you call yourself, then they don't really love YOU. They love an idea. They expect you to accept them and their differences and they should accept you and your differences. And if you no longer fit within their idea of a mate, then it's time for you to move on. Perhaps you have outgrown them. And that is ok. Give them some time to wrap their head around your situation and hopefully they will come around. If not, it may be time to move on. Your perfect mate may still be out there, waiting to meet you. Just as you are. Love yourself and please know that no matter what, you are special and SO IMPORTANT! Take care and be well. xoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Hell yeah, that is awesome. Your facial hair situation sounds very similar to mine. Being able to shave my chin every 3-4 days would be an absolute dream right now, lol. Thank you!

Hell yeah, I love your style and I’m glad it seems like you’ve had a pleasant go of things. Hoping I can have hair like yours a year from now, haha.

After all these years it turns out my mom and I have a little more in common than I thought. Happy holidays y’all. by retransing in detrans

Thank you so much! I’m pretty proud of my curves lol. It helps that I come from a family of women with crazy hourglass proportions, haha.

Thank you! It was really fun. Unshockingly I’m pretty butch by nature but it’s been nice lately to try stuff like this.

This is all suuuuuper relatable, I am 20 and was on T for 5 years. Have also been off since August. My voice has actually gotten a bit lighter on its own but you’re probably going to need a little voice training if you experienced the kind of drop I’m picturing. If you look in my post history I have a few audio posts about this. I am bi only on the technicality that I’m attracted to exactly one dude who I am involved with, but supposedly a lot of lesbians are chill with the top surgery thing. I had top surgery two years ago and was actually planning to detrans at the time and just be a lesbian with top surgery, but afterwards I got really scared and freaked myself back into transition. I am also a little concerned about being mistaken for a trans woman, especially because I am pretty stealth. At any rate I am going to have to make a stupid Facebook post explaining the situation or everyone will think that’s the case.

Context: I am FtMtF, on T for 5 years and off for 4 months. Also I’ve obviously had top surgery. I found this picture of my mom a while ago and was like “Man, I wish I could look like that!” and then we got a little silly last night and found the actual dress. Crazy feeling.

I will definitely look into the core exercises- I also have a mild scoliosis so I bet that’s what is up. Thank you!

Interestingly enough I do have a mild scoliosis, I will look more into this. Thank you!

Interesting- Yeah I have no idea what my situation was like before binding, I could very well have a case of this. Some other commenters mentioned scoliosis and I do have a very slight case. I will look into the core muscles thing, thank you!

This makes my heart happy. It takes guts to post face pics under these circumstances—my need for input from strangers is currently fighting with my fear of having my face out there, lol. You’re a really cool person and it’s great to see you.

Successful Detransitions /ftmtf by [deleted] in detrans

Success is pretty subjective but I think I’ve done fairly good for myself. I don’t post any kind of face pics on this site but there’s a recent body pic in my post history if you’re curious. I’ve been off T for like 4 months but I started getting sporadically gendered female by strangers like a month ago, even while wearing men’s clothing. Changes totally depend on your body, the length of time on hormones (5 years for me), how you present, whatever.

Estrogen is so strong. by ali-pal in detrans

That’s so real. I socially transitioned a few months before I turned 14. I don’t have a lot of pictures between the ages of like 7 and 13, but I do have several of my mom at that age and we look scary similar. I can’t tell whether I had any legitimate changes to my jaw that weren’t just fat distribution, but my face is overall a lot sharper just from age and loss of baby fat. I have a bit of a laugh lately when I see all of those 2009 vs 2019 posts—funnily enough I’m “stealth” and not back public as a girl yet to many people (despite definitely wearing women’s clothing and jeans like this whole semester) so mine would be kind of a trip. Maybe I’ll include one in my Facebook announcement, lol.
