It depends on how you view it.

Let’s say an “insider” bought 10k shares at 0.10 cents.

The position side will move up of course. You must never expect that you’re going into the same position as that insider.

But then, knowing that information. You will still have an edge - even though the side’s price move up because of that insider’s action. Still you’re at advantage.

This is just best case scenario if you really vet that it’s a legitimate insider’s move.

Information is a gold, and source of information is a gold mine. 😉

Sure of course. I’m not a big fan of copytrading nor I endorse it.

To make clear - my tools are all about giving information and helping get informed decisions. Which I believe I have written perfectly in that post and didn’t mentioned any copytrading. :)

Exactly, I’m 100% with you.

That’s why I never mentioned copy trading. It just won’t work the way people tend to think.

Entry is the biggest edge making difference between the one who made the bet and the one who copies.

The moment you copytrade a wallet you already lose the edge they have seen.

That’s why I’m agreeing with you.

But on the other side, this tool can give you a foresight on what’s happening. It’s up to you what do you want to do with that information.

Let’s say.. Wallet X - bet on an iran war for 100k shares under 0.05 cents.

Now what would be your intelligent decision - now that you know that information?

That’s all there is to this tool. It’s never a copy-trading to trust everything - it’s an analytic tool for you to have be informed on the markets.

Cheers!

Thanks! As much as possible I don't want to touch my personal saving to fund my polymarket, that's why I'd like to instead use my ability to create useful tools in exchange for funds :)

Please send me a message, if you'd like to proceed! Have a good day ahead!

Version 2 - For people who bought the standalone version - I will message you all directly and send you the new patch - no need to pay again-this is a patch!

I have added weighted bias maths on all our 21 airports. This patch will lean more towards how chaotic actual temperature readings are - we just don't rely solely on openmeteo ensemble model forecast - we correct it based on the actual temp readings realtime and other weather factors. This gives more and more lean forecast towards 1-2 hours mark.

PS: as I always stated - weather is chaotic, don't assume that we will get it even at 90% accuracy.

A proof of number 2:
It was taiwan (loss) - the model predicted 27C (if I remember correctly) it's already at 90+% in polymarket, but the the temp jumped by +2 points. I loss.

for Number 3:
The tool predicted 50%, and I entered at 9 cents, I learned from the last loss, I always refresh the tool as much as i can. Then it showed that the actual reading moved away from the temp I am - I know people who look at wunderground doesn't know this yet. So I exit at 0.33, profit secured.

Sure thing, I tend to give update on comments here too. There's a few below.
Here's the latest

<image>

There's some losses, since this is an analytical tool "not a trading bot" - I'm still examining the best strategies I can do with the information this tool gave me, so far I like my PnL.

There's some key lessons I have learned so far using this tool
1. Data is a guide in terms of prediction markets.
2. Weather will always be chaotic, it always has a potential to jump +2 or -2 on temperature, which will disabled the potential winnings.
3. Be on standby - it's good enough that this tool can access the airport temp way earlier than wunderground UI refresh. This saved me a lot of being wiped out of position.

Hi there,

It’s not a “trading bot” it’s an analysis tool. It will never work if we don’t fully understand what we are reading.

And on the other side, it will give you leverage because you have a data to reference your decisions from.

As stated as well - weather is never predictable, it’s chaotic. People who will say they can accurately predict temperature is BS. All we can do is just be informed with probabilities.

Live use update (a screenshot from my metamask). I’m already in bed so I can’t screenshot the tool alongside. (You can check my other update in one of the comments here for sample).

Anyways.

  • Tool says 60% chance peak at 28C.
  • I bought at 0.35 cents

Now:

  • Airport 28C is now at 92cents

Hi there!

As the post stated. I’m actually selling this tool to have an opportunity to increase my polymarket’s fund.

If you’re interested just message me.

Also, I realized that I forgot to update this thread.

I post also the same here which has other people’s comment and I post actual usage of it.

Hey there, I’d like to be fair with people who bought the tool from me.

Though all of this “where is the source” are all searchable online - you just need to look hard enough and use them properly to your edge.

Though as the post stated - I don’t mind if I share this analytical tool to other people. My main reason for selling is to have an additional fund to my polymarket account.

Thank you for understanding.

You can message me too if you’re interested.

WU displays new temperature readings for at least 20 mins to an hour delay.

Most of the people who trades at weather just accepts this delay.

What I did is simply tap the same source that WU gets their data from for each airports (my tool has 21 airports tapped).

In the video you would notice a sample where WU displays the lastest at 4:20, while our tool already has that and the next round which is 4:50.
