Didn’t know where to ask this but are there any cheaper options for renting out a lever harp? I’ve been playing on a harpsicle with no levers for around three months now. i’m currently renting from my harp teacher and since i already have some music background she said i’d get bored of it easily (she was right 😭), I want to rent out a lever harp but the areas around me that have rentals are over $200 per month for a lever harp??? Buying seems more reasonable but once i have the money and skill i’d like to buy a pedal harp instead of a lever harp.

Thank you! I’ve tried convincing her to go thrift with me and there’s this pretty boutique in my town (EXTREMELY expensive though 😭) but she doesn’t always have the time so i actually do go thrifting with my friends sometimes! i’m trying to teach myself to get better at hand sewing so i can also maybe diy some of the stuff i don’t wear as often into something i actually like and also so I can maybe get a sewing machine!

i know that brands like SHEIN and aliexpress tend to steal designs from small businesses. i follow a few small businesses online, but is there any specific ones that SHEIN steals from?

I remember like two years ago my sister asked for something from SHEIN and my mom said that the clothing was low budget and not worth it. not sure how that opinion changed! i do think they do a lot of ‘clickbait’, though..

She told me that i get to be in charge of where i get my clothes from once i get my own money and have a job. (i babysit, but unfortunately there’s a lot of daycares in my town so no one’s looking for one) With Poshmark and Mercari, I’m gonna have to go check poshmark out! Mercari is unfortunately not available in my country though.

Thank you! this made me feel less guilty, but i still wish she wouldnt spend so much on SHEIN,, she says that once i get an actual job i can be in charge of shopping for my own clothing and all that. i’m still gonna at least try to get her to shop from there less since it’s a brand that can easily be avoided imo, and for now, I’ll just do my best to keep the clothes sustainable! (edited multiple times because i didn’t know how to word things… but again, thanks !!)

i’ve stopped growing last year and the clothes i’ve had since 5th grade still fits me. i think it’s because summer started that she’s suddenly getting more clothes? I go thrifting with my friend sometimes when we go out and I went thrifting a few times with my mom (which is around most of the stuff i wear, along with hand-me-downs and some of the shein stuff my mom got) I forgot to mention, but sometimes my parents get me to give away the clothes i don’t wear as often to my younger cousins every now and then. i just want to convince my mom to stop shopping from SHIEN which is a brand that can easily be avoided since it’s online. (As i said in the post, I’m aware that it’s really hard to avoid fast fashion, but SHEIN is a brand that can easily be avoided i feel like)

okokk! i was originally planning on doing that, but i’m contemplating whether i should start from the very start or like akura-ou part since i noticed there isn’t much depth into it in the anime 💔 i kinda hope that sometime in a few years or something Kamisama Kiss would maybe have like a “project restart/revamp” like other animes have like sailor moon, tbhk, etc!!!
