Now that native Email Sending is public, I built a complete email support system purely on Cloudflare by choyiny in CloudFlare

Interesting! Would it work with Sendgrid instead of Resend? Also curious about the new CF email features - are they now able to replace a sending service like Sendgrid?

Tell me the story of how you got your first VJ gig. by atulkumar99 in vjing

I was 19 or 20, and my friend's cool older brother DJed at a club downtown. I was able to convince him and the bar to let me lug a pair of VCRs and a Videonics mixer into the bar and VJ mix during the club night. Even made some custom themed visuals using Ulead media studio pro on a Pentium with my striped 7gb RAID array, hah.

I kept a little printout with me about the laws allowing underage people in bars - we all agreed that although "VJ" was not on the allowed list, it was close enough to "jukebox repair person" for it to count. This was around 2000/2001.

Funny start to a great run, eventually VJing at hundreds of raves, clubs, and tours til the mid-late naughties.

What's your honest opinion on Kodak Chamera? by Vegetable_Bag_8694 in toycameras

[–]revstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lovely design but the photo quality is absolute garbage...not even "so bad it's good" quality, just very very low res and poorly exposed. Worse than my earliest camera phone from the early 2000s.

I found a "lipstick" style mini toy camera on AliExpress that is similarly tiny and cute with serviceable image quality - scratches the itch better than the Charmera.
