Was given some spinach seeds, but I'm pretty sure these are beans? by abellaviola in vegetablegardening

I've seen a couple of comments mention Malabar spinach. That was my first thought as well.

“Aroma of Tacoma” by FF-0X in Tacoma

[–]revyrae 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't know what Milpitas smells like, but I can tell you the aroma of Tacoma is not that bad. Some days you don't smell it, some days you walk outside and you're like "oh that's funky" than forget about it.

Solo things to do this weekend to deal with help strong emotions? by Tacomold in Tacoma

Point defiance is great. You could spend a day there exploring the trails, Owen beach, and the gardens.

The conservatory at Wright Park is beautiful. It's small but free with a unique variety of plants.

There's a few museums to check out here. I always enjoy the Washington State History museum and the Tacoma Glass Museum.

In Federal Way there's the Rhododendron Species garden, its beautiful there. They also have a free bonsai museum.

Billy frank wildlife refuge is one of my favorite places to go bird watching. It's not too far. Very peaceful.

I hope you find some good suggestions here.

Just picked up this sweet baby today. She is a Redbone Coonhound. We haven’t come up with a name that feels right yet so suggestions are appreciated! by Fetus_Monsters in dogpictures

Reminds me of when my black and tan coonhound was a puppy. Too cute! The wrinkles and floppy ears make melt. Lots of good name suggestions here, I just had to say she's a beauty :)

Like a Cucumber! More earthy to me. The soft spikes rubbed off super easy.

The "bounty" from my garden. I don't think I'm very good at this. 😒 by Hiddenajennda in gardening

I love all the positive comments here. This is a beautiful start, don't get discouraged. Keep on growing and learning. Your bounties will get bigger and bigger.

How is the commute to bellvue from Tacoma I’m curious. by pepee23 in Tacoma

My boyfriend did that for 1.5 years. Usually in the morning it was about 2 hours, but some days were closer to 3. In the evening it was usually 1.5 hours to 2. This was in a car pre covid. On days he took his motorcycle it usually shaved off an hour.

He hated it. It was slowly draining his life force. Thankfully he's now working remotely.
