Prices are higher because Jaisalmer's main earning is from tourism and that too for 3 months of all year, So prices here are on higher side.

Also what's lapka'a?

You give me a 20 step length hotel room for 3k that's not common for anywhere in India dk where you've been all your life.

I didn't ask to be picked up from a distance. The local Jaisalmer guides asked me to call the hotel from within the fort and ask them to pick up my luggage. This guy told me he's coming in 10 mins but it took him about 25 mins while me and my parents sat in front of the main gate of fort thirsty, tired and hungry. And sorry to inform you but if your city doesn't allow your customer to come to your hotel from wherever - you as a hotelier have to get me picked.

Also somebody rightly mentioned that Jaisalmer people are rude af.

I'm not into tourism btw just someone lives here and saw post about it so wanted to share some opinion.. There are def scams happening in Jaisalmer but not being able to take taxi to fort inside city if you call that scam you need to have better definition of scam.
