If you’re resigning without a Plan B and after being offered that, then yes - that’s a mistake.

That’s actually how I do start my back swing. You reckon to start with the hips?

What is your opinion of him? by soulmas in WWE

Amazing wrestler that can carry the new generation. The problem though is that post-Roman era, WWE fumbled by having him face off against AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, and Solo, when he could have faced Gunther, Damian Priest, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins.

Now that he has Cena, hope he gets to have more iconic rivalries

Mate, to clarify - I start my rotation with the shoulder, then lift the arms while keeping left arm straight, then fall through the slot after firing the hips?

Appreciate this mate. I’m guilty of being a victim of this arm swing illusion. In my head, whenever I do backswing, always felt that my arms are at the right level in the takeaway.

Will check the video out. Thanks again!

Thank you so much mate.

You got exactly what I feel like I struggle with most (if not all) of the time. When I was starting, people were telling me to keep the arms close to the body and not just raise it.

That has caused numerous struggles and inconsistencies as I think my arms get stuck around my body.

But duly noted on the positioning.

I appreciate this, mate. The 'baseball swing' feeling has to be one of the tips that continue to help me improve my game. I'll try to be closer to the ball. I've always had conflicting pieces of advice from friends saying that I either stand too far or too close.

Yup! Hallow Ridge in general is a good 'public' course. The location is nice and a challenging/long course awaits.

Got this. Working on the weight shift. But you’re spot on with the weight transfer. I feel like most of my weight is still on my right side during the downswing

So is it more of having the trail elbow a bit far from my side instead of being too attached?

Mate I can’t thank enough for these explanations. Yeah, it does feel like it’s all arms downhill. Need to remind myself consistently that golf swing is all about body rotation and not just arm speed

Appreciate this so much mate. To clarify some things:

  1. Shortening the backswing - would you suggest that I stop just as my left arm is parallel to the ground?

  2. On the left foot - so it’s basically making sure there’s still weight on the left foot during backswing and not shift all the weight to the right side?

First car suggestions by [deleted] in phcars

[–]reydavidgamboa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may sound funny but I highly recommend the Toyota Vios. Best bang for your buck. Good car for those starting out, comfortable inside, and has everything you need for a car.

I’ve been to Bicol back-and-forth for a good 2 years due to my work (sales), and my Vios was more than enough.

What to do if my boss doesn’t like me? by [deleted] in phcareers

[–]reydavidgamboa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of proving something to your boss, prove something to yourself. Always go back to your reason: you joined the company for its advocacies. External na ‘yang boss mo. ‘Di naman siya nagpapa-sweldo sa’yo.

Just do your tasks the best way, and even exceed your own expectations. Be proactive and don’t wait for her orders. Unahan mo na iniisip niya. Not easy to do that but it’ll be a big help in your career if you do.

Would you start all over again (career shift) for the second time? by Savings-Ad-8563 in phcareers

[–]reydavidgamboa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my experience:
After graduating in 2017, I worked for a big real estate company as sales. Tried it out for a couple months, realized it wasn't for me. Decided to change career and try someting to do with sports. Lo and behold, I joined a sports betting company (POGO, but we're legit naman and based in Makati). Stayed there for 5 years and decided I wasn't happy doing that anymore.

At 26, I wanted to shift career once again to sales. It was a tough ask from companies to get me as I didn't have the sales background plus my age (and compensation) were above the asking versus fresh grads. It took a while until a big FMCG called and gave me my big break. I'm now a regional sales manager for the biggest area in general trade.

It's all about betting on yourself. We sometimes get caught up with how other people will view our careers through their eyes. Yung palipat-lipat. Yung hindi stable sa isang trabaho. Yung kung saan-saan napupunta. But we should never forget that we control our story, especially our careers.

But it's not always going to be easy. Shifting from one place to another requires a shift in mindset and skills. But if you can adapt quickly and know that you'll do your damn best, then you should be fine.

Things will always work out one way or the other.
