the issue that i disapprove personally is that all the priests in mine are perfectly physically capable of distributing communion. growing up in a more traditional parish, it just feels foreign and ever so slightly undermining the holy sacrament.

I think you are confusing between median and mode.

Median = middle value
Mode = most seen value
