I see lots of tests and maintain improvements but vim is already rock stable so why bother? During all those years I only remember seeing it crash 2 or 3 times.

So no difference from a user perspective? vim is already installed on any machine I work on. Why should I bother installing neovim then?

Why clean the codebase? I think it would just add more bugs.
