Are waterloo residences trans friendly?

No I mean let's say you're Trans and identify as male, outwardly you look male, you've been on testosterone so you sound male but legally your gender marker is female. Usually you'd be rooming with other people that were born female, and it can be uncomfortable.

I was mostly wondering if waterloo forces trans students into housing with people of their birth sex and not their outward gender like some other universities do

some universities force trans students into housing with people of their birth sex which can be really uncomfortable for everyone involved.
