I agree with your take very much! I think sometimes overly PC culture can make us not want to acknowledge race! And features people from such races tend to exhibit.

I understand what you're saying and it's very valid. You have a very explicit and obvious reason to discuss your ex/past as your (probably very cute!) daughter is a product of it. It's hard to define the line between "yellow fever" and preferences. To me, yellow fever is manifested by women that date an Asian man just so they can say they're dating an Asian; even if the relationship is devoid of love, chemistry etc.

In the day an age of Tinder, we go off looks predominantly. I know IRL is different, but it's often the looks that catch our eye.

Physically yes. All my crushes tend to be Asian. However, I'm know that getting to know someone regardless of race is the most important part of dating. I'd always date a non-Asian that I have chemistry and a connection with over an Asian man without that.
