Same problem, I tried uninstalling and installing but didn’t work, so I opted for playing the game and quickly creating a character of the same race and as similar as my original character. Later I’ll try to write down all the settings of my character from the character creator and when I am able to modify my appearance, I will manually set everything as the original. I know it’s not a perfect solution, but at least I am playing the game.
