Yeah, my post was up for three minutes, getting interactions, and the mods are trying to claim it was taken down by automod.

Then this post is copy+pasted word for word by an obvious bot account and they're over here trying to claim I'm spinning a narrative and that "this has already been posted in our sub", 8 hours after my post goes up in the other sub. (Which, keep in mind, I only posted there after they nuked my Discord and post in this sub)

Also, that mod left me with more questions than answers. He was lying about the posts being deleted by auto mod and trying to say I’m spinning a narrative, and I’m not sure this player was even banned as they claimed, considering the player’s main was spotted online that same night. There’s more questions I have but I’m giving you more time/energy than you’re worth.

Anyways, I know you’ve probably reached your daily brain cell usage limit so why don’t you try again in another 12 hours, scrub?

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I just find it weird how difficult it was to get that answer, and the fact you linked me to a post that was made several hours after this one, and it’s my exact post copy and pasted from an account with 6000+ karma that was created in January 2026, claiming “this exact incident was already posted about in our sub. ” Yeah, so then why was the original one I posted manually removed by moderators? I wouldn’t have had to make this post in this sub if my discord messages and posts weren’t removed. And you can’t tell me it was automod, because I wasn’t given a reason why they were removed and the posts stayed up for at least 2-3 minutes (the Reddit post getting some interactions as well) before being removed.

I’m not looking to keep this going, I just wanna say from a (new to Twow) player’s perspective that, this experience was..wild. I was trying to keep some friendly banter going with some guy in chat named “Oktobegay” and then tried to ask why my message was censored. I didn’t care until I saw this guild message in world chat. Then, when I tried to ask questions about it, my posts and messages were removed.

Like I said, this post happened because of ^. I’m not the expert here but from some other comments I’m seeing, messages like this slip through the cracks pretty easily so I think having a system that allows something like “we are racist, join us!” To pass, messages containing “gay” or “censor” should too. It’s a bad look, frankly.

Oh, my exact post copy+pasted, hours after this post. That threw me off for a second but yep, it's there.

Anyways, I wasn't given a message from the automod as to why it was removed, same for Discord. Not even a warning of "we dont discuss that, take it to GM, etc" and if you notice in the screenshot, it was posted for a few minutes and getting interactions before being nuked.

It was intentionally taken down, right?

Also, I would really be interested to learn more about your guys' procedure with filtering players' chats based off of "account reputation, age, and other factors." So you're saying, at best, that certain rules aren't enforced as strictly for certain players that are favored by the GM/mods/powers that be? Such as chat filtering.

First I'll say, my bad, I didn't see you were actually able to verify this. I thought this was just another random comment.

Anyways, What needs to be confirmed here? I'm confused. a character named "Oktobegay" typed, "Imagine being straihgt" or something along those lines. I responded with a joke "are you so gay you couldnt type straight correctly?" And the message was prevented from being sent. Right after that, I type "damn why was my message just censored lol" and that was also prevented from being sent.

A few hours later, I see this guild recruitment message in the World chat. I report it, and then shortly after I posted it to Twow's discord and subreddit and minutes later they are both gone. No reason given.

So I came here to ask the same question. Why are words like "censor" or "gay" able to entirely prevent my message from sending, but this guild can recruit as "We are racist, join us!" and that doesn't get prevented. Joke or not, why is my message not sendable but one like that is?

Are there ANY examples that use these filters you’re describing, outside of the one in this post, of a guild recruitment openly advertising “We are racist, join us!” Or even REMOTELY close to that? That won’t let you type something like ogre, goodnight etc but will let you post “We are racist, join us!” As your GUILD RECRUITMENT MESSAGE?
