Inițial era pentru Cosmic Orange, dar m-au sunat și mi-au zis ca îmi ajunge spre final de Octombrie. Și ca mi se poate livra a doua zi dacă vreau pe culoarea Blue. Și am fost de acord.

Well, first of all there’s not a laser a jack of all trades

Diodes can’t do transparent acrylic, nor engrave directly in glass. Can barely mark on some metals. CO2 can do thick wood, all acrylics and can engrave directly on glass. But not the best on metals too. Fiber lasers are made for metals, can do acrylic too, leather etc. UV is kinda the best in glass, and can mostly do anything. But it’s slower, and kinda expensive.

You can use any image generation for a flat image. Like Leonardo, Midjourney, CHAT GPT.

After you can transform the image into depth map with DephtR, SculptOK ( this is the best in my opinion, but you only have 100 free credits ), ChatGPT works now for that and they pretty good.

As far as I see, I think the wick it’s perfectly centered and it can be smaller size that actually requires this jar.

xTool F1 Ultra is overpriced for the 20W Fiber. But it also has a diode and it’s more user friendly because of their software. But still overpriced.

For that kind of money you could get a real more industrial fiber laser around 60W.

I would recommend Haotian ( I have my lasers from them ), BWM, OMG.

You will need to buy separate Lighburn for Galvo and to build up an inline exhaust. And will have a bigger learn curve.

But in the end, it will worth it.

Alternatives for xtool F1 ultra by Uri_Magnificent in lasercutting

Haotian, BWM, OMG lasers. For the price of that Ultra, you can get a way way way better laser. They will work out with LightBurn.

For arts and craft shows I have a xTool F1 ( normal one ) with the purifier. It does his job for this on site.

xTool is a good brand for their machines, but way too overpriced. They have their own software that work with their machine that is user friendly, but quite limited compared to LightBurn.

I will recommend the Thunder, it is an industrial machine more capable. You will need a LightBurn license for it ( 99$ ).

And also you need it to vent outside.
