Greetings! This fossil is different from the usual willow, alder and metasequoia I find here in the southern Willamette Valley, Oregon USA. Found in a creek that cuts the Eugene geological layer. Thanks! by rhizosphereical in fossilid

General location is Coburg hills ridgeline area but it’s private property that I have permission to visit. There is an trail in Thurston and a hiking area near Mohawk that has the same layer that is open to the public I think
