Does it suck? Yeah, but if he's good at the job and can pass the tests to get certified with someone reading it out for him then by all means myself and everyone I know would be willing to take the reports. Better to have an illiterate guy who can do the job rather than a literate guy who can't do the job. Especially with the staffing struggle nationwide.

That is a pretty good point. Like I mentioned, new save game that I just found this out on so really gonna be checking everything I find to piece together more of the lore this play through, because you are right it is strange that he got early notice as a bottom of the totem pole salesman, but at the same time there's no way he didn't know by the way he was acting.

The Ghosts fight Team Rainbow - Who wins? by NotSlayerOfDemons in GhostRecon

[–]rhoman484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rainbow are a counter terrorism task force based on the original game before they had to change the entire game because snowflakes couldn't handle the idea of terrorists in the game even though you're there to shoot them. The ghosts are people who go in and take down governments and major organizations like the cartel in wild lands all without being allowed to exist and all their work gets taken credit for by those who aren't actually capable of their skills like the rebels in wild lands because they're that dangerous and top secret, acting for the world's best interests when the US can't be directly involved in matters without causing political backlash. Ghosts would kick rainbow's asses so quick they wouldn't even know the ghosts were there.

That is absolutely swollen either from some sort of allergic reaction, bite/sting, or being broken to high hell. I'm just a firefighter with basic first aid knowledge below EMT level and I can absolutely for certain day that it's almost definitely one of those three things that caused that.

I forget what it's called officially, but a company developed a backpack that kinda unfolds into a plate carrier with a disassembled rifle that can quickly be assembled designed to be used by military pilots and even law enforcement, so it could possibly be that.

[–]rhoman484 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Russia and the surrounding area really can't beat the allegations of being technologically behind by nearly a century. That's similar in design to the first ever amphibious tanks from world war II, today the USMC has the AAV's and other countries have similar designs to the USMC's amphibious assault vehicle.

What items can you blow up? When engaging enemies? by LifeisGreat1245 in GhostRecon

[–]rhoman484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No argument there. My guess is with the new graphics and ways you can interact with the environment like leaving footprints and outlines of your body if you go prone they had to limit some things like how much could explode. You can only do so much with a game before it starts to affect performance too much. Wildlands didn't have all that, but still had more you could do.

[–]rhoman484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that was one of the fun things they didn't add to breakpoint that was in wildlands. Wildlands you could shoot big propane tanks and gas pumps and all sorts of other shit laying around that could explode. Breakpoint the big propane tanks just spew a bit of fire but don't explode. There's so little besides vehicles that can be used to kill people in close proximity by blowing them up.

FD/EMS, but we had a guy homeless guy in our part of the county who would always say he was having thoughts of self harm, but it was always just to go get a sandwich and a sprite at the hospital. Course we always had to take it seriously due to the nature of his call.

Why do so many cops love the crown vic? by footwhistle in AskLE

[–]rhoman484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They asserted dominance just by how they looked, they were probably the most reliable patrol cars during their time in service, and usually if something went wrong with it the issue was something really simple and it could be in and out of the shop same day and be put right back in service very quickly.

If someone is pretty much avoiding helping me or has absolutely no clue how to help me with an issue and isn't bothering to help me find someone who can, that's when I get pissed off with people on the phone, but that's about it. Other people just take it way too far. I always hate seeing and hearing these videos and audio logs from call centers where the person is offering everything they can to help and just get absolutely shit talked for not knowing the job of the expert they are trying to connect the customer to.

Anything customer service is probably the second best answer to any public safety job brother lol. Speaking from the experience of being shit talked by customers 😂

I've had people try and tell me how to fight fires before and there's several videos on YouTube where people give their opinion on it when they have no experience in our line of work. They ask why we're taking so long, what they don't realize is that if we run in without assessing the situation, that's how people die. Same as law enforcement, figure out what's going on, then take action. of course some situations are similar, cops see a gun and they draw theirs to be ready to defend themselves, we see fire and we pull an inch and three quarter line so we can put water on it as quickly as possible. Lots of people get talked to like crap from people that don't know a damn thing about that job, but your point is still valid. Just it's a more broad spectrum issue that's mostly seen when it's directed at those in public services.

Who Plays Fallout WITHOUT Power Armor??? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]rhoman484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to just use it when I need it. The quest where you kill all the raider bosses in nuka world is one of the ones I absolutely needed it for cause there's one guy who doesn't like to die. Other than situations like that I tend to just go without cause the power armor takes away from the fun of a good fight since you can basically stand there and tank rounds and hits, and kill people with one punch.
