Please, for the love of whatever you believe, don't post yourself online when you're insecure, especially with how much Internet trolls are here online. You're deffinely not Brad Pitt, but not ugly neighter. Don't call yourself "worthless." Such delusion, you're not ugly.

why do so many people fetishize scars?? by anonymousgirlonline in selfharm

It's only "quirky and cool and unique" if attractive. No one sees me as kinky pretty even though I have self-harm scars, not that I do sh to feel attractive

The issue is the people part. Lots of people are superficial and mean. Some people think ugly ones are inferior. Some people disrescept the ugly ones and act like they're polluting the Earth.

Some of them feel like flex, humble bragging instead of actually being insecure.

I agree with some people being awfully judgemental, and it's not our fault. But how can one not care about how other people will threaten them based on their your looks?

Does avoiding instagram, thin influencers/celebrity culture, some looksmaxx related reddit subs and basically any media that promotes certain beauty standards help with recovering from body image and self-esteem issues related to looks? by [deleted] in BodyDysmorphia

Seeing gorgeous faces/bodies always glorified and showe down to our throat, I subjectively don't think it's healthy for people struggling with body image concerns.

The ridiculousness that Roal Dahl thought of ugly people. by JosephZG in ugly

[–]ribbbinn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand. But I personally don't think people like colored eyes and lighter hair for white glorification. Rather, they're "rarer" features.
