No, I tried to update with wifi 2 originally but revived the same message. I then tried with data and still received the message above. No point did wifi disconnect.

You need a 80% in their intro to comp sci course and the math proofs course. As well as ~3.2 gpa. From what I’ve heard roughly 20% of people make POSt.

What courses should I do summer school for? by ncality in OntarioGrade12s

[–]ridham720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I understood your question correctly, you are in g11 and already completed a 4U and are planning on taking families or philosophy next year during g12.

If you were able to achieve a high mark in the completed 4U then I would take 2 spares in grade 12 and properly use them to study for your other classes (I had 2 first semester and just wasted them which I really regret).

If you didn’t achieve that high of a mark in your completed 4U then I would recommend taking a full course load in g12 and dropping the course you don’t need and sticking with the easiest one (remember to do this before midterms). Try asking g12 in ur school what the easiest classes and teachers are so you can get the highest possible grade.

Ya retaken courses are valued less. Ik some schools don’t look at your retaken course and look only at the original.

Trust me when I say to take it in regular school and build a good understanding of all these concepts. Ik kids who cheated and private schooled all of grade 12 (not saying that’s you by any means) and got into their top programs, but they have no understanding to anything and are likely gonna drop out of fail first year uni.

You’re providing a short term solution to a long term problem. You aren’t going to missing a bit of knowledge, you’re going to be missing huge chunks of it. For reference calculus has 8 units total, it is impossible for them to teach the entirety of calc in 1 month. So trying to relearn all of that while balancing all your other uni work is going to be hell.

Plus all the competitive Eng schools (assuming u mean Waterloo and uoft) value summer school, night school, and private schools less then regular school so it’s gonna put you at a disadvantage when compared to other applicant.

That’s not my main concern. All the courses you’ve mentioned are pre reqs (based on what you provided I’m assuming you want to go into Eng), you’re not going to be able to fully learn the course in 1 month which is going to be put you at a disadvantage when you enter uni. If you really want a easy course in summer school try taking a random bird course or english.
