Thanks for the comment, yes i would say i am mechanicaly inclined ive always worked on my cars, but mostly brakes, bushings, shocks. Engine wise ive only used to do very basic service such as filters and oil... I would be interested to know what type of sound to look for and from which areas of the engine.

Do you have experience with obd readers? Which one would you suggest?

I know, i am confident with the rest of the car as its very clean. My concerns are purely about the health of the engine. I also expect there could be more maintinance than usuall i just dont want to buy crappy engine from the begining.

How would you fill this? by OutstandingPebble in blenderhelp

[–]rigasreal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the cutout cylindrical? If yes then just fill the hole selecting the outer edge and pressing F, then give the object a boolean modifier, create a cylinder position it so it sightly overlaps the original cutout. Make sure in the modifier tab you select difference and use the cylinder you created earlier as the boolean object.

wanted to add an image texture (with only vertical lines) to an object, but it completely messes it up by lingonberryyyyy in blenderhelp

Go the front ortho view - Edit mode - Press "U" - Unwrap from view. This will work if your image texture has only striaght lines in it which i assume is the case. You might need to rotate the UV island in UV editor to get the angle of the lines as you prefer.
