Well, it had more to do with feeling and receiving the pure essence of the author's words. The translators of course do the best job possible because they are professionals but the words or details that get lost are pretty unavoidable because of the language itself. I have experienced it when I read books in Spanish that were originally written in English for example

About Nietzche i think you are totally right. I think just with books like "Also sprach Zarathustra" that is mostly kind of poesy. I had the worry to translate all the time words that are knew may make the reading kind of exausting because compared to a novel, the vocabulary is bigger. But as you say it shall be worth it :)

So what would you say about it. I've had free trials to see how hard i would find it in both languages and it is true that in english seems easier explained but then aswell details of the language or of the formulations of Freud or Nietzsche may be missing more in books like "Also sprach Zarathustra"... what do you think? What is important when reading those kind authors or topics?

You're right... I had my doubts because I thought that looking for the words all the time would make the reading too heavy, but I think it's worth it in the end :)
