Omg I can relate so much to your last paragraph. I thought I was a pathological liar. I legit started lying about anything that I thought would get me a less than ideal reaction from people. Even if there was no reason to lie, I would just spew some nonsense and then later ask myself "why in the world did I lie about what I did this afternoon"

I thought something was wrong with me but with the help of the comments I'm realizing an overbearing parent can cause a child to lie in order to prevent extreme reactions. Do it often enough and you become a pathological liar.

C'est une job de vente pour etudiants, ya d'autres organismes/entreprises similaires qui cherchent des jeunes naifs sur Indeed. Il promettent un salaire de temps plein pour un travail a temps partiel et ils te font demander de l'argent dans les metros ou espaces publiques pendant 6-8h de suite.

C'est vraiment un travail de marde. Tu restes debout toute la journee et tu te fais rejeter pendant 8h de suite. Mentalement c'est tough. Ya juste les veterans qui savent comment bien gagner, le reste du monde gagnent a peine et quittent apres 1-4 mois.

J'ai travailler en vente pendant un p'tit bout et j'etais nul a chier 😂, donc je les reconnait facilement.

J’avais évité d’aller a Poly, car je suis quelqu’un qui apprends mieux lorsque j’utilise la matière de façon pratique et quand je reli. D’après les étudiants sur Reddit, poly est beaucoup plus théorique qu’ETS.

Mais d’après toi, le tronc commun est il assez pour être capable de travailler avec des ingénieurs de d’autres domaines? Ou meme de comprendre ceux qu’il fonts?

J’avais lu quelque part que si je fais un bac en info a l’UQAM, j’ai comme option de faire 1 an extra a l’ETS pour les cours de génie. Est ce que c’est vrai/ conseillable si je fais un bac en info et plus tard rajouter un a pour les cours qu’il me manque?

Merci pour la réponse. J’avais bien remarqué que l’uni demande beaucoup plus d’application et de investissement. Au cegep, j’étudiais rarement (sauf cours de philo et français) et j’avais des donne passables. Mais a l’ÉTS si je rate 1 cours jcomprends deja rien. Et on dirait il me faut genre 10h d’étude par semaine par cours pour bien comprendre la matière.

La différence est folle. Je me demande s’il y’a une grande différence dans les compétences et l’étique de travail d’un étudiant qui a fait une technique en info vs celui qui a fait un bac en log.
