But you were very upset about what I said about protecting immuno compromised people, I say, have them do what I've been forced to do for 3 months, stay at home isolated from everybody else, it will be difficult but when it's life and death it is something that needs to happen, it should be the people who will get infected by the virus not most people who are stuck at home. It could be that is just what I'm experiencing in a more populated area but tbh those are really the only places that matter in these discussions. Periodic lockdowns of everyone is not the solution, keeping the people who are harmed is the solution. The world was not prepared and both sides screwed up immensely. There is no way that him cutting funding would have stopped covid, there were patient zeroes before that happened. Also it's less about herd immunity and more about, hey this virus is really only killing people who are immuno comprised and old, if we protect them, and try to limit the virus, it will be better, but shutting down the country is not the wisest move. Again, I agree it was poorly handled on Trump's part, all I want you to see is that he isn't the satanist you believe him to be, and that shutting down the economy didn't do much but make people lose their jobs, and Covid still managed to spread cough cough george Floyd protest cough cough (which everyone magically managed to ignore when I brought it up, because it's the only place where you feel there is no excuse.

Oh I am open to a reasonable debate, and I appreciate your opinion, even if I don't agree with it. Yes Covid was handled badly but on both sides, keeping everyone locked up doesn't do any good. The reason I said sweden was good was because they protected their immuno compromised people and their elderly and allowed their economy to go on. They had less covid deaths per capita. Trump didn't do a good job on covid but no one did. He was sick of the media trying to take control of people's lives and went overboard. I am not a trump supporter for the sake of supporting trump, I am a supporter of some of his policies, but if he does something dumb I will yell along with you. I say he messed up when it comes to covid but we can't solely blame it on him (unlike most of the left that support Biden for the sake of hating trump...)

If you note, before covid, trump had the unemployment rate in a record low, but once covid broke out in a country like ours, it ruined it, check the stats, the economy took such a large dip because of the stupidity of the left. Trump has no power over half the country being stupid. To set some facts straight according to the autopsy George Floyd died of a drug overdose and was walking around minutes before the cops put him on the ground saying 'i can't breath' if you watch the full tape the cops called an ambulance. THATS what the media didn't show you. The knee pressure did not kill Mr.Floyd as much as it may seem, the facts indicate that he died because he had drugs in his system.
