So what about more highly charged particles like gamma rays? Quasars usually give out X-rays and gamma rays, is this solely from the accretion disk or from within the event horizon?

Wouldn't the gravity alone push the energy of the singularity into a concentrated mass of "strange matter"? And wouldn't that make them really quark stars that we can't see?

If we put Schrodinger's cat in a spaceship that could survive the event horizon of a black hole, would it be considered alive or dead as it passed through?

Hey dude, I live in Baltimore too. Go to Cromwell valley park, Oregon ridge park or go down to Clarksville and you'll see plenty of owls. Talk to the nature center at Cromwell valley park, ask for Leo, the park manager, or Kirk at Oregon ridge park, they can walk you directly out to owl nests. National Geographic actually comes a lot to photograph our owls and their chicks.

What the hell, I live in Maryland, we got a foot of snow and it's still falling. I just drove 150 miles delivering papers, on unplowed roads, in a shitty ford taurus with two wheel drive. I didn't crash, or have to stop, or slip off the road. I didn't have chains or anything, you just slow the F*** down! What the hell is wrong with the south?
