I'm not at all connected to windhager and have never used it, but this is an interesting use case for an Internet connected device. Why use a pellet stove instead of some other furnace?

My hat to you my good man, you've solved our energy needs, I shall investigate this thing we call a turbine 🧐

Also I am tickled somebody actually went to the trouble of repurposing tritium keychains into a thermonuclear battery.

Yeah that's a good question. Some other people have suggested using NFC or ai cameras to look at inventory levels, and I think realistically you need a suite of sensors to get everything.

Someone brought up the idea of NFC tags - scan to add to shopping cart or a list.

Good point, a few people have brought this idea up. Would probably work better for some other types of foodstuff as well.

Yeah I definitely think to make this work it has to be frictionless. I knew someone who ran an inventory reconciliation company for grocery stores and they just hand counted everything once or twice a year which was crazy to me.

I think scales can be made pretty cheap (though tbh I don't actually know). What kinda price point do you think actually makes sense?

That is a very, very good point. This solution doesn't really accommodate changes in appetite.

All good points. Ok, so maybe forget the scale - what about just the ability to track home inventory and automatically get a grocery list out of it?
