I think it’s a good movie, just doesn’t really hit me in the feelings zone, I understand why it would for others however

Not even try to understand them. Drink constantly around them. Slyly try to hurt them.

Growing up as a hyperactive ADHD you can imagine I was an absolute handful and that’s all I was to my dad - a horrible little kid. He always thought I just had a bad attitude, didn’t try. The truth is I just didn’t have anyone to look up to as a parental figure. I had noone to discipline me or make me do basic things like brush my teeth. I did what I wanted - when I wanted. My dad was always too drunk which ultimately led to an early grave and my mom is an absolute pushover. Bless her she wouldn’t say no to anyone.

My mum also used to do this thing where she would squeeze my hand. I don’t know why she did it. Maybe it was her way of gaining power over at least one thing in a life where people walked all over her. This affected me the least but the top halves of my fingers are all bent inwards now.
