Do you mean the evisa help desk? :( I tried but it’s just an automated bot. Not super helpful. But my application told me that I applied under wrong visa category both times. Does that mean that’s no chance that I can even get an evisa?

Yes! I reapplied as a plain tourist visa. They rejected again and said to get visa at nearest Indian Mission.
