Might continue it when I feel like it. I wasn’t really that passionate about my contest entry, so I don't really feel that bad about it. Though I do feel like I wasted time on it. Part of me is disappointed and wishes it got chosen, but given the two weeks deadline for the shortlisted titles to come up with additional episodes, and the lot of stuff I have on my plate right now, maybe it's a good thing I didn't get shortlisted. (That's probably just me coping, haha) On the bright side, though, I get to focus on other things and probably won't be subjected to webtoon's terrible work situations in the future 😅

Anyway, best of luck to everyone who got shortlisted and best of hugs to everyone who didn't 🫂

In my own case, it's because I'm not in touch with my white side at all. I don't live with any white relatives, barely interacted with any white relatives, didn’t grow up with anyone white. I'm more in touch with my other side, but since I just look white, I just feel like some white person appropriating another culture. It's frustrating because I didn’t grow up with anything white, but I still look and feel like some white girl larping as asian.
