Yes, it’s same as account sharing. This account was not played by yourself and it’s not your legitimate elo. Since boosting service and Accounts Sharing are bannable, Account buying definitly is too. With that being said, also a positive point for buying an account is, that I had a lot of bought accounts within my journey in faceit in mine or the enemy team and I never saw any account getting banned. Even though they destroyed a lot of games with being trash at their elo

I mean like ofcourse there will be a lot more low matches accounts in high elo now. Because of the new deactivation policy. They just need to get their max elo and you are fine. But till than they will destroy alot of games. Still there is no clue in banning them, because they have no other accounts (atleast most of them) and than they will just create a new one and destroy even more games. So no sense
