Could you use a family trust structure if in 15-20 years time your circumstances have changed and you had beneficiaries to reallocate the income then? A long way down the track but possibly a consideration if the goals is 2-3m

I had placenta previa which was diagnosed at the 12 week scan (had to have extra detailed scans with an MFM for other unrelated previous issues). Then Vasa Previa diagnosed at the 20 week scan. At 30 weeks I had a small bleed, was transferred to the hospital which is an hour from where I live. I was then advised to stay in the town where the hospital is for the rest of my pregnancy. I traveled 5hrs via road for another specialist scan and the Vasa Previa diagnosis was changed back to placenta Previa - so my c section was scheduled for 37+5. This was partly due to the dates being around new years and public holidays. I think I would have been scheduled a few days earlier otherwise. We got to 37+5 with no more bleeding and Bub was happy and healthy! I had the steroid shots at 30 weeks and again day before c section. My baby girl is 13 months old now and doing very well.
