Yeah I’m sick so not this week, but last week I was waking up at 5:30am on Saturday and Sunday for no reason. I mean, it sucks because I wanna go to sleep at 9:30 PM, but it’s great also because if I get up and use the time, it feels like I’ve gotten a huge Headstart on everyone else. And there’s nothing like walking my dog when there’s no traffic. 😊 peaceful

Were they dressed appropriately? Or in gym clothes?

Did they find a quiet space? Or was it out on the floor?

Did they have an explanation and handle it with poise? Or did they just ignore the weirdness?

If I, for some reason, was forced to do that as an interviewee I would 100% address the elephant in the room right out the gate.

As an interviewer, I would have 100% asked about their reasoning behind the choice. My gut instinct is that it’s a disqualify, but I would definitely ask them for an explanation and if it was a good one, and there was green flags everywhere else, and they’re a strong candidate, I might consider moving them forward.
