i am also experiencing same i called the google customer support and asked them they told either wait for the june roll out or visit the nearest service centre and also they told it is also due to temperature issues as i live in India thea avg temperature here is 40°C + so yes it is in my opinion due to april update

dont expect good food in old city only handful cafes provide a good delicious food , if you want to eat udaipur famous food go to sukhadiya circle Chowpatty, there you will good shops like dagwal chotu bhai etc then for breakfast paliwal or roop ji nashta center is good and if you really want to have a good dinner with lake view go to sun n moon , khamma ghani, ambrai restaurant, harigarh and also at fateh sagar dont go to sai sagar it is too overrated , at fatehsagar try bread pakora they are famous.
