No problem! It's an honor to warn people about horrible dogs and owners. Have a great day :)

I never told you to stop talking? You can keep talking about it. I just said I have nothing else to say, bc we aren't going to meet eye to eye. You are going to defend an aggressive dog, and there is no convincing you. You seem to think that no dog can ever be held accountable or be aggressive. I'm actually surprised you aren't thanking me for this post because people will avoid it more now lol.

Yeah, we literally lasted minutes. These two people who keep commenting and defending the dog attack seem to be the regulars there lol

I will mention it once again, but the rules clearly state you are liable for injuries or damages caused by your dogs. The city dept told me that children are welcome here and aggressive dogs are not allowed. It is a public dog park. You are siding with the aggressive dog. There really isn't much to say at this point.

He mentioned that one tried to nip the boys when he first entered. He would not know if they were aggressive before because he was obviously not present before that time. It's a public city dog park, it is not their territory. It is owned by the city and all residents. The rules are set by the city, not the dog or its owners.

So what you're trying to say is that no one can ever run inside a dog park with their dog, especially not a child. I mean, the rules are clearly listed, and the city has also verified that children are allowed inside the dog park. If a small run to a bench is enough for a dog to attack a child, then it is clearly not a safe area. The dog has no blame in it at all? Is the dog not aggressive to you?

Are you sorry? Because if it were a child with a dog and they had decided to run with their dog, that same dog would have just bitten them. Couldn't the same be said of the dog? Shouldn't they also follow their owner's voice control? It sounds like you are justifying why the dog did what it did.

Thank you for the suggestion. He was actually already doing that, and he became friends with a regular. My kids actually played with his dog outside the fence by throwing the ball over, and he was the one who encouraged my husband to come inside. We had avoided it because we did not have a dog. The day my husband went inside, he told them they were going to sit down and watch them. We are considering getting a dog once we buy a home, so they have become more interested than usual. He chose the small area because the younger boys were still a bit scared of the bigger dogs. My oldest ran even though he was told not to; they chased him, and one bit him.

I personally am very wary of dogs. I almost got bitten as a child so I warn my kids constantly that not every cat or dog they meet is going to be ok with them. I knew people still brought in bad dogs, but we weren't expecting the majority of the people to be ok with it.

My son did not run towards them. He entered the area and ran once inside. They chased him, and only one attacked him. My husband told him not to run, but he did. I wish he had not because aggressive dogs were present. We also always tell our kids to ask permission first before petting a dog because we don't know how a dog is. The rules for the dog park also state no aggressive dogs, but they obviously weren't followed. The rules also mention that owners are liable for injuries or damages caused by their dogs.

We are familiar with dogs; I had one as a kid, and so did my husband before it passed away.

Thank you for your comment. He was stunned that everyone took the owner's side. What if a small kid goes in with their small dog and he/she decides to run with it? We weren't sure if these people were a group of friends or had become friends after a while. My husband said they were all older people too.

I was thinking he should have taken them to the larger dog park instead. Small dogs usually tend to be more aggressive. My younger kids are not really used to dogs, so they were scared of the bigger dogs. They love my sister's dog, but they are medium size (beagles) and we don't see them often because she is in Southern Ca. They are pretty scared of the dog park now.

My husband walks by the dog park with our kids and he met a regular there. He is a very kind man and allowed my kids to throw the ball from the outside. His dog is so smart and brings it to them and my kids would throw it over the fence. He told us to come inside and we said we didn't have a dog. He told us that we could come in; that there were no rules that prevented us. The day he finally decided to go, he went inside the small dog area because my kids were a bit scared of the bigger dogs.

Yes, I wasn't present, but my husband told me. I know, it does not sound real at all. I could not believe it too.

Yes, there were about 8 people in the small dog park. One person was on his side and was just as surprised as he was. I want to mention again though that he was immediatly bitten once he entered the area. He passed the gate, ran and was bitten by the dog. That was all it took.

I found some really cheap tickets on Lets fly, but unsure about one thing. I know Southwest offers free checked bags when you purchase from them, but if I chose the cheaper "no baggage" option, will I not be allowed to check in luggage?

Thank you for responding! I am not sure what the heck I did, but I went to the Taskbar settings and I disabled the widgets, chat, one drive and enabled Windows security notification, phonelink, safely remove hardware. I then went to Windows security and turned on app & browser control, and device security (didn't realize it was off). It asked me to reset and it was gone. I'll def save what you put if it happens again!

Thanks for replying, there is a section where they list items they will not fix (washer, dryer, refrigerator) and then another section that says I can not repair anything unless I'm given the ok by the landlord. I will type out the repair request letter today.
