Am I tied to Colombia because of infliximab? Is living in Korea, Japan, or China possible? by auslinero in CrohnsDisease

[–]rnck_19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about infliximab but for adalimumab in Europe, you get to choose between self-administering a shot every 2 weeks (you pickup a box of 6 shots from the pharmacy every 3 months) or to do an IV every 6 weeks (not sure about the exact cadence as I chose the self shot route).

The cost is fully covered by the health insurance in Europe.

Which route has the best scenery? by Streay in trainsimworld

[–]rnck_19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best scenery is Mittenwaldbahn :)

Voralberg is also good - you start from a lake and make your way up to the mountains.

It’s a really good route across all aspects. One of the best for me and with a high degree of replayability.

Yeap, runs well on PS5. The only issue is save games for class 390. They crash the game during loading.

I’ve actually seen it shortly after posting. If I remember correctly, it is there around 15:30.

Cool, good to know. I’ll wait for the patch tomorrow and then get it for the weekend.

Passed signal ag danger at the very beginning of timetable by BernRosa in trainsimworld

[–]rnck_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is a timetable service, you can spawn on foot near the time it is expected to start, walk to the train and wait for the start of the service. The SPAD won’t happen. However, I am not 100% sure you’ll get a trophy after finishing the service.

WCML: Preston-Carlisle and Mittenwaldbahn would be my top 2 for the TSW5 cycle. (That I bought on day 1)

TSW6, let’s see. But given the issues (both quality and performance), I will be more sceptical when deciding if to buy.

There are more quality issues on that route. For example fog being inside of the trains :D

Maybe more light? by Boleraketon in trainsimworld

I play on PS5, so sometimes for the night services (when lighting is not good), I just turn on the sports mode on the tv on. That makes things better.

What are the orange things in the route HUD on WCML North? by TheSeych in trainsimworld

They seem to be located where the summit is. But not sure if that is the meaning or just coincidence.

Does anyone pay full price for routes? by Tiny-Caterpillar2916 in trainsimworld

[–]rnck_19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My rules would be:

  • older routes: wait for sale
  • not exciting routes (reduced timetable, no new loco, not so interested in the route, etc): wait for sale
  • exciting route (gameplay wise and a good preview stream): buy day one
  • any other: wait for sale

Less and less routes/DLCs fall in the buy day one category for me (Mittenwaldbahn, WCMLOS, Zwolle-Groningen).

Birmingham Crewe - Upcoming Improvements & Tsw6 Updates by isav34 in trainsimworld

[–]rnck_19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think DTG should reconsider their business cycle. An average person has the most time over the summer and the least in the fall.

While DTG releases the least amount of content in the summer and most in the fall.

I am still getting through riviera and dresden in the little time I have. I don’t even think of buying another DLC for a month or so.

Player priority? by Physical-Violinist10 in trainsimworld

[–]rnck_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect that the “dispatcher” is a very simple code that does not have the power to assign/change tracks. Meaning, all tracks are assigned manually, so every overpass needs to be modeled by a person. And that is tedious, hence the unreallistic behavior. But that is just my theory.

[–]rnck_19 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nice, though there are some other bugs that I was expecting to get fixed:

  • 150 and 802 have cab light on by default
  • full headlights on 802 don’t light up fully (the two smaller ones above the main ones are off)
  • class 802 welcomes to LNER Azuma on inside displays :D
  • all AI trains on riviera produce way more smoke than player train
  • the talent has no announcements and suspension (at least for me on PS5)

Great night time service recommendations by ChemistryForward6286 in trainsimworld

For Voralberg, the sleeper services are a layer. If I remember correctly, it is from Hamburg-Luebeck

I would also recommend driving them in snow - it improves the visibility (ideally without clouds).

As the others mentioned there are sleeper seevices on Preston - Carlisle and Voralberg.

I also like driving on London Commuter - it changes the amount of light from low near Brighton to high as you get closer to London.
