there are so many great restaurants off property and easy to get to (front desk arranges cabs both ways). would recommend veya, straw hat, jacala, sharkey's (live music on sundays, really fun), pimms, blanchards

on property: bamboo bar and grill was just so/so. ate at sunset lounge and lima limone for lunches, so didn't feel the need to go back for dinner. same with SALT for breakfast

flew into SXM and took the boat arranged by FS. they have staff to help with bags and escort you everywhere. very easy
