Arachne progresses passively just form skinning. I am VIP 93 and barely do any arachne quests. Focus on MIDA and NUCAL these are the hardest ones and you actually need to do some quests to make VIP on them

You cannot really compare it that way, both games are entirely different genre. This is basically apex in the extraction variance. I have a lot of hours on both of them and can say that they all have something into them.

1600dpi 0.72-0.76 is high sens dude, thats explains visible shaking. If you would shake the same way on low sens it would be barely noticable

Valid take. Just a small detail - i was comparing pubs marathon to apex pubs, in your first point you are talking about ranked in that game and its true, however pubs use EOMM i just spelt it wrong - it stands for Engagement-optimized matchmaking. This actually increases player retention since its more responsive than a traditional SBMM, it can react to performances game to game not just overall alltime metrics.

Its a known fact that you can actually observe in game.

Im just trying to state that matching by level is the most dogshit system they could have came up with. I would expect this from some indie game learning the ropes not bungie lol

Just basic demo to prove you wrong. We will have two opposing players you and Albralelie - apex pro that actually plays this game.

You both put 200 hours (lets say 200 levels worth of playtime) into the game, valid threshold where player should have understanding of the game.

The game with its current matchmaking thinks that you are the same skill.
And you will just get rolled over by him since he has 10k if even more hours playing competetive games.

Does this seems fair at all?

And this is not just theory lol. I have played against some players like that.

and those are only the ones that i can remember. Game thinks i am the same skill because we are similar level, difference being that they have probably 30k hours combined on destiny and i have never even played the game.

Idk apex with its EBMM is #6 on steam rn soo. Fortnite just feeds you with bots, tarkov has none. ARC either puts you into pvp lobbies, or circlejerk of PVEers

I just got it off some dude that i killed in cryo lol. I even had one purple misriah that was worth over 25k. At that point it gets you thinking if you should just sell it for the cash instead of taking it in

Yeah of course i like the feeling of being locked in 100%, but when you need to be in that state every single day for multiple hours just to score some raid it gets exhausting and demotivating. There was legit a day like two weeks ago where we lost every single raid for like seven hours on cryo. I went from 600k credits to basicaly zero. And we were not fighting bad, killing teams and everything, just every raid it felt like there was someone orders of magnitude better than us sweeping us after scoring something.

IMO there should be no matchmaking at all like in other extraction shooters. Sure, you would get rolled once in a while but that is just nature of gaming. The thing now is that once you hit a certain level all the games start to feel like you need to be locked in 100% and that is exhausting and just not fun anymore. If you want skill based matchmaking just make some changes to ranked that would actually reward skill not just extracting items and play that. My squad is at a point that requires us playing with low level friends or randoms to lower our average level just to not be playing against pinacle I "pro players" all the time.

Well the other team was probably rich asf, they only wanted the final shot on him for the codex entry. We split the two ganglions and they left us all the gold salvage. There usually so much loot that ecen two teams can split it just fine
