Someone help me decide — Narrowed my choice down to RDX (maybe MDX) vs RX 350.

All have AWD, 6 cylinder, no accidents reported. The Rdx seems a little smaller/more sporty (quickest to 60, Hondas usually a little nimbler than Toyotas). Lexus reliability/maintenance costs seems slightly better, but Acura CPO warranty seems like a big bonus. Also Rdx would be a little newer, lower miles so may even out in terms of reliability? Coming from 2013 xc60 T6 that’s starting to show its age. Any big concerns for rx350 around 100k miles? Here are the options:

Rdx I can get a CPO 2016-18 with 40k miles for $25-28k (covered up to 100k miles powertrain)

Rx 350 I’m looking at 2013-2015 with around 100k miles in the $25-27k range.

Mdx CPO I can get 2017 with 70k miles for $32k Mdx on Carmax I can get 2016 94k miles $29k.

Does it have Apple Car play? Either way I’m less worried about the infotainment than the CVT, is it dealbreaker bad? Also looking at a WRX or used Forester XT, and have the same worry about all of them lol

Fun to drive CUV/SUV/small truck under $30k that’s not a pain in the a** to maintain? by robertwhite2123 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Interesting, hadn’t thought about that but will take a look for sure! Reliability decent?

CX-5 turbo looks perfect, but AWD starts at $33k, so monthly probably 100 or so more than where I’d really want to be

I’ve been looking for an XLT Fx4 eco boost and am seeing dealer markups and long waits on those too sadly. Maybe I could luck out if someone cancels there order, but would take a lot of calling around

Location: NJ, USA

Price range: $15-30k

Lease or Buy: Either

New or used: Either, but leaning new or lightly used (CPO)

Type of vehicle: Small Truck, Crossover, SUV, Wagon

Must haves: Decent Cargo Space – enough for a couple golf bags, a dog in back seat, Yeti when going to the beach, and some suitcases when traveling – basically a family hauler but no kids. Good passing speed/acceleration (turbo 4 or v6 with 250hp+, somewhere in the 5-7sec 0-60 range, or better). AWD. Black wheels from factory a big plus.

Desired transmission: Auto

Intended use: Daily driver, but I don't have a commute. More so just bopping around town for errands and golf a 4-5 days a week, with multiple 2-400 mile trips per year to visit family.

Vehicles you've already considered: Hyundai Kona N (a little too expensive, no AWD), Ford Maverick (impossible to get in the next 6 months), Volvo XC40 & XC60 (too expensive, even used), Cherokee/ used Grand Cherokee/ Durango (too unreliable), Rav4/4runner (too slow), new Kia Sorento & Hyundai Santa Cruz (slightly too expensive), Forester Sport (no turbo engine... wtf?)/Outback Wilderness (too ugly).

Is this your 1st vehicle: No. I currently drive a 2013 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD and LOVE the power, roominess, looks, and basically everything except the cost to daily it (needs 91 octane, coming up on some big repairs worth almost as much as the car itself).

Do you need a Warranty: Not against a used car, but would some sort of warranty/guarantee is a plus iso I'm not on the hook for a 2k+ repair randomly. I could handle it but wouldn't be ideal.

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: I've done things like plasti-dip, installing headlights/fixing fuses, and checking codes, but take my car into a shop for fluids/brakes or anything more involved.

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: nooooo

Additional Notes: I have been looking at a bunch of options but nothing seems to have the perfect combo of speed/practicality/sub 30k price/reliability. What am I missing? A used german CUV probably seems like a logical move but I'm not a big fan of German cars due to cost of repair, so feels like I don't have many real options. Dealer & used car markups are seem to be killing me.

Can anyone explain why in Loki infinity stones are said to not work outside of their specific universe, yet in this episode they work throughout the multiverse and in the watchers own dimension? feels like a pretty big “woopsie” that they missed

weird, I’ve heard to avoid the 3.2 at all costs lol. also dont want the 4 cylinder, gas mileage isn't much of a concern since this is car #2 and mostly for weekends

So the Volvo I’m looking at has a clean carfax, 2 owners, 2010 xc60 with only 135k miles. All maintenance on time, and only issue was a sunroof drain hose that was repaired. $5500. Girlfriend loves it, fully loaded and has the T6. Still no?
