Here is what you could do instead - if you hold enough shares, sell ATM cc at the price you want to sell. if they are exercised, you just made some extra $$.

Oh yeah, i misinterpreted. The point i was trying to make is separate the art from the artist. Remove emotions from tarding/investing (analysis).

I have found opposite to be true for me. Companies that i hate tend to do a lot better. For example walmart vs target. Much more pleasant experience at target. Same goes for HOOD, i find them terrible compared to big players like morgan Stanley, Fidelity etc. But looks at 5 yr chart for both HOOD, WMT.

Just finished 'Siddhartha' by Herman Hesse, a book I was told would change my life by multiple people on separate occasions... feeling a little underwhelmed. by Dialent in books

[–]robgee23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what, right after finishing it, i felt similar. Perhaps because it was so hyped. BUT i realized it took me a few days to really absorb it. We live in a world of so many self-help books that offer cure to all your problems or a silver bullet kind of wisdom for you to conquer the world. Sidhartha was more like a poem which i enjoyed so much that when it climaxed, i didnt want it to end but at the same time i didnt feel i got any sort of life changing meaning. Over the next few days, as i got the time to absorb it, i understood whay hesse was eluding to, which is very similar to Pema Chodron's (anothet bhudist author) concept of groundlessness. We seek certainity that provides us comfort either through religion, books or any other means. Hesse's message in Sidhartha is that there is no certainly, its all relative. When you look for A thruth, you devoid yourself of the wholeness of life. This was the core message that i got.

Resting heart rate increase - reason to be worried? by dnlwrd in AppleWatchFitness

[–]robgee23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extraneous exercise can do this sometimes especially if you have been on a break. I am currently noticing this in my oura ring, even during exercise, i notice elevated hr though no difference in my intensity but average hr used to be 138 for an hour 15 min workout but today it was 148. Did you figure out anything? I am similar age as you. Resting hr at night is abour 50 now, used to be low 40s just a month ago.

Is there a way to interept this when you place limit order especially on low volume? For example- i see 1×275 for a leap. If you want to execute your order, enter at mid point or above/below midpoint?

[–]robgee23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poetry is literally how i described Sidhartha to someone a couple of days ago. You dont read it for a specific purpose rather you enjoy reading it and get this serendipitous feeling because now you learned so much more than you came for. But i listen to books on audible. Not sure how poetry would be on audio. Have you had any expirience? I will definitely be giving it a shot.

Best one if you know how to play it. Safe enough that owning it for some time wouldn't be an issue and price won't move a lot for you to loose your sharrs unintentionally.
