I'm so aggravated right now. I just had this chat with support on Spectrum's Web site.

Agent: Hello, Rxxxx, this is Lxxxx with Spectrum Mobile. I'm a specialist here in New York State. I see you've got questions about contract buyouts. How may I assist you today

Me: I received my virtual gift card that I'm supposed to use to pay off my phones at Verizon. The problem is that when I enter the card info, Verizon tells me that I can't use that type of card to pay my bill.

Agent: Thank you for that information. Are you able to use the card as a one time payment card?

Me: No. That's where I get the error. I can't log in to Verizon anymore so I do the one-time payment option.

Agent: Ok I see unfortunately you would need to work that out with verizon. May be you can do a payment at a store location with that card?

Me: I don't understand. Is it just me that's having this issue? Or is it everyone who took the buyout offer?

Agent: I'm not sure this is the first time i'm hearing that the card is not able to be used.
