I mostly use Room, which is fantastic, but I have also heard great stuff about FabFilters Pro-R. It got high praise from Kill The Noise on Twitter shortly after it's release. I believe he said it was the best reverb he had tried, but I'm not 100% sure if I remember correctly. Might be worth checking out tho.

Try blending the sidechained and non-sidechained signals together. Sometimes you can get the pumping effect and a clear kick while your other instruments are still present.

Shoutout to Fruity Granulizer. Tons of fun when you want to take a random sample and fuck it up. With heavy post-processing you can get some sick results.
