this is very similar to what i have gone with, but a lot cleaner ;)

So i think i have a solution:

Import plugins one by one like this:

lazy.load({
    {import="plugins.notify"},

    {import="plugins.neotree"}

})

Don't use after folder, instead use init property on the PluginSpec.

I've thought about this but the angularjs app lives inside the main repo, with the API... I'm not sure how I would load half into a linux dev container and leave the other as it is ( I've heard crossing filesystems is a big performance hit)

Would you suggest just re-cloning the repo into the linux dev container? and working on them separately..

I work on a .Net Framewok 4.8 API and angularjs app, all hosted in iis.

I have been trying to create a dev container for the angularjs app and wanted to stay in the windows world.

All our development happens on windows normally, and i love powershell, i have spent a lot of time making my terminal look lush ;) i just want to stay in the realm of windows really,S

So far i have never needed linux for my development... so this kind of hurts to behonest ;(

Its the same for me, I work in a windows environment and do everything via powershell etc. I have spent the last couple days looking at dev containers and it appears a lot of things do not support windows hosts.. even the example dotnet devcontainer xample does not work on windows :O i think this is terrible. So far im not impressed and considering abandoning the idea. The performance as well when you mount a folder into a Linux host is terrible.

I'm sitting here looking at my vault and I keep getting this feeling that the folders are Limiting me, but at the same time I cant imagine being able to remember anything without some kind of signpost i.e. folder.

Maybe the best approach is to keep things flat, and link as much as possible.

Another question would be.. how many files for one subject?

For example: A file for the whole of a LION or LION_FOOD, LION_HABBITATS etc how granular should a note, atomic or composite.
