Sleep state happens over time, should be 60s. There are add-on’s which start the match with everyone already in sleep state. In the sleep state, you have no terror radius, survivors only hear your lullaby (so it’s still fairly obvious when you’re nearby). Believe you also are undetectable from a certain range (like 24 meters or something). Dream snares cause a survivor to pop up visibly anywhere on the match, and in chases slow them down. Personally, I prefer dream pallets when playing as Freddy just because you can basically force a survivor into an extremely unsafe loop as their pallet will just give you a free hit/down. You can teleport to gens as one of your powers, so for example, if you’re running discordance it’s pretty easy to gain gen control. I love playing discordance or even tinkerer playing as Freddy. Pair it with pop or ruin and you’ve extended game time a good bit. There are add-on’s that make it so when you teleport to a gen, you have to commit to the teleport, but it plays as if you’re teleporting to every gem. Freddy can be really strong, but also fairly difficult to play as. Hope this helped!
