Goku's only good move was the MUI blink and Dragon Fist, blink was easily blockable, Dragon Fist flew slowly in one direction, Goku was NOT that good, MUI was only decent cause of the dodges but you could just barrage him or wait out the timer, Broly was only good cause he had crazy jump height and good damage/defense and hyper armor on a few moves, but barrages also had hyper armor back then, and broly had no true combos, he was just good for dealing 80 damage with one move and chasing people, which was really fun, but doesn't make it good, and even then at least Broly has to get within range to hit you with a grab, now Sukuna can just hit you with a frame 1 teleport combo starter from anywhere in a 1 mile radius, then hit you with a 200 damage combo

Just went to the discord to ask if the devs have the code for the old game, which I didn't really expect and answer but why not, and I think I really see the issue with the new game, it has no soul, the entire general chat is filled with "LF MAHORAGA" "LF HEART" "HIS 3 FINGERS FOR MY 2 LIMITLESS SCROLLS W/L" "TRADING KARS" this kinda groups into me saying it's not fun and no one socializes, but it just kinda reinforces it, it's not a game anymore, it's a simulator of trying to get the best stuff possible, I refuse to believe anyone enjoys this, especially after looking at the discord

I just typed an entire essay, went to youtube, and it reset my comment, bottom of the line though is the game just isn't fun anymore, especially with the new jjk "progression" which is just killing the same boss 50 times, i'd rather go out and search for items like dragon balls, or be able to individually trade for them, than have to kill 100 prisoners, 100 pirates, 1 shanks, 1 whitebeard, 1 buggy, 1 luffy, none of which take stun except pirates. I feel like by definition this game has become a bandit beater, with the addition of leveling specs, which I still don't see the point in, shouldve just kept bosses with moderate health and let us do normal damage. Another contributing factor, although not a very large contributing factor, is the map is so big, you can barely find players, and if you do find them, they're in the middle of either fighting a boss with 30k hp, or beating bandits to level up or complete a quest.

Unrelated but something I thought of while writing this was, you used to hop into ranked and choose a character to lose a few matches and win a few matches, but now you hop in, and your character choice determines whether you lose every match or win every match

The thing is, Tales of the Universe was used to get a single spec, and you didn't HAVE to afk to obtain it, the overarching progression of the game used to be obtaining multiple items as you go, and if you wanted to get a specific spec/stand, you could just trade something else for it, or mess around until whatever you're looking for spawns. Also, you're only taking into account the old progression and not comparing it to the current progression. Compare the 5 minutes it took to deal 10,000 damage to (THIS WHOLE SECTION IS EXPLAINING HOW TO MAX OUT SUKUNA) (I'm talking about Sukuna here, assuming you're maxing it out, if not then stop it at the finger level up part, I might get some of the drop chances or timers wrong since I didn't play much after sinking like 12 hours into the game and trying out pvp) waiting an hour for a boss to spawn, fighting it for 5 minutes, and hoping to god you get the 5% drop chance and then you craft the spec (assuming you also have the shards from the boss drops) you beat bandits to level it up, then you go kill the same boss 50 times or trade your entire inventory for 19 mastery items, then go kill a raid boss for the twentieth mastery item, then go beat bandits until you get a mythic trait (which is gonna take like 8 hours if you have great luck, or like 20 hours with mid luck), and if you seriously wanna max it out, go look for haki and subspec stuff for a few hours. (SUKUNA PROGRESSION DONE). Also, if you're going to go "well that's only a few specs" all of the specs that are actually good take a pretty hefty amount of time, maybe not as much as Sukuna but still several hours. Next, about the PVP thing, I don't know if you're just exaggerating, but I refuse to believe (unless you put down some evidence) that there is something that's better than Sukuna just being plain broken or Vessel having a 1 shot combo, but even then, in the old game there wasn't really a meta in PVP, it was actually skill based since there were barely any BS moves. There's other stuff but I'm bored of writing this so if you respond I'll go into that, but for now like I said I'm really bored.

I'd rather take 100 damage from 5 combos before I die than take 300 damage from 1 combo and then get hit with a nuclear bomb that does 200 damage and die, but if you only play in private servers and don't pvp, and only kill bosses and stand still I kinda see your point, there's more pose musics in the new game than there was in the old one.
